Qualifications
Required skills/experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a software platform design leadership role, preferably within the tech industry (Biotech or Agriculture would be an asset)/Silicon Valley. Must have strong experience with designing software using state of the art usability principles & user centered design, delivering complete portfolios of software for a community of users, and designing for multi-device solutions meeting the needs of a global mobile workforce
- Demonstrate in depth understanding of:
- Industry trends, development products and environments, as well as best practices for mobile application design and development
- Appification of enterprise workflows
- Understanding of application security best practices
- Leading edge usability practices and agile development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Create a strategy and manage an operational plan to achieve quality outcomes
- Work effectively within a matrix culture
- Simply communicate complex concepts to executive staff, business sponsors, and internal resources in clear, concise language that is tailored to each group
- Previous experience in developing a software platform that incorporates analytics
- Proven experience working with senior leadership on defining and delivering on a product roadmap.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent personal presence with proven ability to work with all levels of management
- A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to motivate and follow-through on projects.
