Qualifications
Qualifications:
- PhD in Organic/Organometallic Chemistry or other related field in Chemistry.
- 3+ years of post graduate experience (i.e. Post doctoral and/or industry) - A strong knowledge of physic organic chemistry is preferred.
- It is strongly desired that the individual have several years of industrial experience in a similar role of supporting existing technology and experience in process development from the lab to the pilot plant and into production.
- Experience in spreadsheet development (i.e. kinetic model) to optimize processes is useful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to be a self starter and work independently and drive collaborative projects forward to draw conclusions and communicate recommendations.
- The individual will need the skills to study and carefully analyze in detail selected reactions in both a lab and plant environment.
- Experience of phosphorus chemistry is a plus.
- The candidate needs to work effectively on interdisciplinary teams and have the potential for future leadership roles.
