Qualifications
Required Experience:
- B.S. or equivalent experience in Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Soil Science or a closely related field.
- Training and experience in experimental design, field test plot management, statistics and data interpretation.
- Strong computer skills, especially in scientific software.
- Demonstrated self-discipline and the ability to function effectively without direct supervision.
- Ability to work effectively with other Agronomy Center personnel, research and marketing personnel.
- Ability to provide technical leadership to product and project teams.
- Must obtain State Certified Pesticide Applicators license.
- Excellent time management skills.
- May be required to push, lift or pull up to 70 lbs.
- May be required to work in strained or cramped positions.
- May be required to obtain a class A CDL driver's license.
Desired Experience:
- M.S. in Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Soil Science or a closely related field.
- Previous farm experience.
- Experience operating agricultural equipment.
