Job description
Experience in IA technology or a related field applying knowledge of IA concepts, practices, and procedures within the computing environment.
Familiarity with DoD IA and FISMA compliance requisites and applies extensive knowledge of a variety of the IA fieldâ??s concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the secure system integration and operation
Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software IA problems at OS and application levels.
We would prefer a candidate with hands on experience applying and tracking applicable patches including IA vulnerability alerts (IAVA), IA vulnerability bulletins (IAVB), and technical advisories (TA).
Possess at least one of the following professional certifications: Security+; CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or GSLC & OS Certificatess
Favorably adjudicated SSBI for TS required, active TS Clearance preferred.

- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2 years experience in IA technology or a related field.
- Basic knowledge in IA concepts, practices, and procedures within the computing environment.
- Basic knowledge in DoD IA and FISMA compliance requisites
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- U.S. citizenship required

Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in IA technology or a related field.
- At least 2 years experience in IA concepts, practices, and procedures within the computing environment.
- At least 2 years experience in DoD IA and FISMA compliance requisites
- Certified in Security+; CISSP, CISA, GSEC or GSLC
