Senior QA Analyst’s primary role is to support software development in the improvement of software quality. Provide testing and automation strategies and testing methods to ensure compliance with software design and requirements specifications. Analyze and test software through all phases of the development life cycle, including functional testing, regression/integration testing and performance testing. Develop test scenarios and detailed test plans that cover all software requirements. The ability to develop automated tests at either the application programming interface (API) or user interface (UI) level of moderate or greater complexity, and employ best test practices in their design. Oversee and work closely across multiple projects with the developers. A Senior QA Analyst must work toward continuous process improvement to increase the efficiency of testing and development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work closely with the Software development team (Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Management) on software systems and applications across multiple projects to achieve corporate objectives
Must be able to write scripts, test cases/scenarios
Must have good understanding of relational database and PL/SQL scripts
Must be analytically strong to work on complex systems and issues
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats with technical and non-technical individuals and groups
Ability to handle and complete multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel
Ability to work efficiently in stressful situations
Ability to analyze all available options and recommend the most effective testing strategy based on findings

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Software testing
Experience leading the Quality Assurance process on projects
Experience writing test strategies and test plans
Experience in software development & programming language is a plus
Understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle
Experience in Health Care industry is a plus
