This position is responsible for maintaining the employee's profile in the TIME System based on information received from PeopleSoft and forms received from the TIME Approvers, Managers and the TIME technical team. This results in employee's getting paid accurately and on time. The TIME System Coordinators also communicates information regarding new processes and pay practices that have a direct impact on how employee's are paid and a direct impact to the Approvers of what they need to know in order to be more efficient at their jobs as it relates to TIME. They are responsible for creating newsletters, tips of the month and chairing Q & A sessions to answer any payroll processing questions.

Essential Functions:
- Serves as the primary facility contact and administrator for the Time System.
- Coordinates all local quality control of the Time System.
- Process new hires status changes for TIME Approvers.
- Works daily reports.
- Create and respond to cases in PeopleSoft.
- Have a working knowledge on how to access various fields within the system.
- Coordinates all training activities for the implementation and use of the TIME System for Directors, Managers, and Timekeepers.
- Communicates processes and procedures of newly established pay practices to all pertinent personnel.
- Follows and conducts audit processes, working Regional/NPS reports.
- Provides analytical research and program development for the system, as well as to quality assure its daily operation.
- Review internal system controls to ensure pay practices are accurately applied and comply with pay practices standards and union agreements as established by Labor Relations.
- Develops an operational and technical expertise of the Time System.
- Attends monthly TIME meeting.
- Create and Review Remedy cases that are assigned and follow up with manager or approver for proper documentation.
- Responsibilities impact the achievements of a Service Area and the Regional Timekeeping Function.
- Contributes to the development of the National Timekeeping Function and objectives.
- Erroneous decisions could impact the time reporting and pay of approximately 6,000 employees.
- Decisions are made based on complex contracts, policies and existing contract interpretations provided by Labor Relations and/or Compensation.
- Proactively develops and maintains client relationships through presentations to HR Business Partners and Department Managers, training of managers, timecard research, report interpretations and standard methods communication (e-mail and telephone).
- Exercises considerable latitude regarding scheduling and approaches to assignments.
- Physically located within their assigned service area and supervisor is officed in another location.
- No supervisory responsibility.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Contract and pay practice knowledge.
- Union knowledge.
- Communication skills.
- Knowledge of pay practices outlined in Kaiser Pay Practices and Collective Bargaining Agreements, effective communication skills, good teaching skills and the ability to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
- Customer service skills.
- High volume operations preferred.
- Some Payroll background preferred.
