This position acts as a liaison between Human Resource Service Center & its customers by handling customer inquiries, complaints & concerns, as well as providing customer education.
Essential Functions:
- Enhances & maintains customer focus through delivery of presentations throughout Service Areas
- Provides trend information, interpretation, alternatives, & analytical support to Service Areas, Legal, HRSC, Executive Management, & other HR staff
- Provides analysis & recommendation of business needs, process flows, & logical data base designs
- Recommends documentation guidelines & tools which support the HR Representatives & Analysts
- Participates in the development of training modules & delivery systems to provide staff w/ procedural guidance & administrative tools
- Recommends improvements to HRSC educational & informational needs
- May recommend, design, develop, coordinate, & deliver HR information & programs to the employees
- Assists in monitoring HR & business processes to maintain consistency in application, minimize potential liability, & ensures compliance w/ federal & state legislation
- Assists in the development of detailed data models in consultation w/ customers & staff
- Works closely w/ technical & operations management to design & implement data support tools in support of complex business application & development requirements & processes
- Monitors transaction activities & assists in optimizing the performance of staff
- Assists in the development of standards, procedures affecting data, process modeling & documentation, data base design, maintenance, & management
- Assists in delivering communication strategies & campaigns which support the objectives of HR & the strategic direction of the organization
- Ensures that communications & materials to employees, managers, & other HR staff are appropriate & current
- Communicates/ interacts as necessary w/ internal departments, resolves complex problems as well as researches, & provides follow-up to difficult questions
- Applies broad HR knowledge, judgment, & initiative to resolve escalated customer inquiries
- Acts as a liaison for HRSC Director regarding customer issues, ensuring that service standards are met
- Coordinates & follows through w/ written &/or verbal responses to escalated issues ensuring consistency in benefit interpretation & delivery of services
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality
- Provides on-going education & information to customers & HRSC staff
- May assist HR Director & other staff w/ special projects

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience required in human resources w/ an in-depth content knowledge of employee benefits, compensation, worker's compensation, collective bargaining agreements, & HR administration
- Strong customer service, human resources, or related experience required
- Previous experience in business process / workflow, data/process, & systems analysis preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Possession of & ability to maintain a valid in-state driver's license
- Possession of minimum in-state automobile liability insurance
- Strong understanding of the HR systems processes & their relationship to the needs of the business
- Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize meet deadlines, & good attention to detail
- Possession of strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills

- Approximately 30% travel required for work & meetings at other sites
