Basic Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of post-masters' in Alcohol and Drug Counseling setting
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervised and related (Adult, Adolescent, Co-dependent or Family) work experience in the filed of chemical dependency treatment required
- Master's degree in Behavioral Science or related field
- Current CA LCSW or current CA MFT license
- If recovering from chemical dependency, must have three (3) years of continuous sobriety at the time of hire, and must maintain continuous sobriety as a condition of employment as a CDRP Counselor III
- Knowledge of Disease model; 12-Step programs
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Crisis management and group counseling skills
- Adolescent and adult population addictions counseling
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
PreferredQualifications:
- Training and experience providing crisis intervention, group and individual psycho-therapy and case management.
- Ability to provide a variety of group therapies
- Strong written communication skills
-Good time management skills, good organization skills and solid clinical judgment.
- Some computer skills
Notes:
- This is a Part-time, variable shiftposition.
- Some after hours and weekend coverage required.
- Will be required to travel between Riverside, Corona, and South County to provide services at each MOB in the future.
- Position may be filled by either LCSW or LMFT
- Will be required to coordinate with multiple disciplines, ie, Special Needs population, Pain Management, Family Medicine, and Medical home.
- Provides back up for Health Education.
External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
