Kaiser Permanente's Internet Services Group ('ISG') is seeking a full-time SAS Programmer who will support the Web Intelligence Group. The SAS Programmer will be responsible for developing SAS reports, maintaining data quality and integrity in the SAS-enabled analytics environment and performing ad-hoc data analysis. This position will require thorough knowledge of SQL and SAS to create data marts and reports through data integration with multiple data sources.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, validate, document, maintain and execute programs in SAS
- Perform data analysis to support integration of new data sources
- Monitor SAS programs to ensure data integrity
- Present data analysis to product owners and key executives
- Develop program specification and design documents

Qualifications:

Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Must have at least 2 year's experience with SAS Programming and SQL
- Basic knowledge of SAS BASE Procedures such as PROC SORT and PROC FREQ
- Basic knowledge of SAS MACRO Facility to call department macros and use defined macro variables
- Basic knowledge of data manipulations using a SAS data step
- Ability to perform a SAS merge
- Knowledge of UNIX operating system
- Detailed knowledge of SAS date and time function and manipulations
- An attention to detail, quality focus and commitment to delivering the best possible work
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must have strong and creative problem-solving skills
