Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain is a new, strategic operating model that's designed to coordinate supply chain organizations across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. This new operating model enables strategic supply chain decision-making across our companies, while keeping supply chain organizations embedded in our sectors and connected to our businesses, close to our respective markets and customers.

All functions that "plan, source, make and deliver" our products - are part of J&J Supply Chain. Our reach extends end-to-end to ensure that we design, make, and deliver the right product with the right performance, every time!

Today, approximately 117,000 people work for the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. Of those, 50,000 work in supply chain roles. Globally, the supply chain network across Johnson & Johnson includes 120 manufacturing facilities, 300 distribution centers and 600 external manufacturers that collectively manufacture and distribute products to customers.

For our MD&D Supply Chain organization we are currently recruiting for a 'Supply Chain Analyst'.

Responsibilities

This position will work directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of stated objectives.

- Own the S&OP process aligning communications between Commercial and Supply Chain partners ensuring connectivity with Business Planning process;
- Manage and consolidate the EMEA Regional Demand Plan working directly with the Country Planners within the EMEA Region;
- Understand market trends and identify forecast improvement strategies to deliver KPI's including regional Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), service and inventory targets;
- Provide trend analysis to influence decision making on product portfolio plans;
- Work with affiliates in reviewing Demand Plans supporting inventory optimization strategies identifying actions to reduce SLOB inventories across the region;
- Provide monthly or weekly Demand Planning reports (MAPE, consumption reports etc.);
- Work with distribution centers and regional marketing to manage backorders and allocation of products against outstanding customer orders during periods of short supply;
- Assess capacity bottleneck and ensure appropriate available capacities & capability to meet customer service requirements;
- Provide Available to Promise (ATP) data to our customers considering projected product supply plans.

Qualifications


- A Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Engineering. Focus on Supply Chain in desirable;
- Min 2 years experience in a supply chain / planning function;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS PowerPoint is required; experience with JDE (or any other ERP) and APS planning tools or reporting tools such e.g. Cognos is an asset;
- Supply chain certification (e.g. APICS) is an asset;
- Strong analytical, systems and numeracy skills with capability to master complexity;
- Demonstrated bias for continuous improvement, problem solving and decision making ability;
- Superior team player who keeps calm under challenging situations and with ability to multitask;
- Strong customer focus (internal & external);
- Excellent social, influencing and communication skills;
- Knowledge of Process Excellence and / or LEAN concepts is a plus;
- Language skills: Fluency in English is required (other languages are a plus);
- Location: Diegem (Belgium).
