Job Description

This Legal Counsel / Senior Counsel position will provide legal support to Consumer Group's Korea business.

Key Accountabilities
- Provide legal counseling and support to Consumer Group's Korea business;
- Partnering with business clients, colleagues in the J&J law department and outside counsel, as appropriate, to support business operation while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, industry guidelines and internal policies;
- Review, draft and negotiate legal agreements and documents in both English and Korean
- Provide basic corporate secretarial support
- Manage the relevant disputes and litigations
- Provide necessary legal trainings to business clients
- Able to liaise with local regulators as required
- Able to work on cross-border initiatives when required

Qualifications


Candidate Profile

Key Qualifications:
- Qualified to practice law in Korea or other jurisdictions;
- 6-10 years experience in private practice and/or in-house, preferably with significant experience in multinational law firms/companies;
- Proven legal and business judgment with an orientation to finding solutions;
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player;
- Excellent client relationship, communication and leadership skills and the ability to work with wide range of people with varying degrees of legal exposure;
- Fluent in English and Korean
