Description

The Senior Manager, BPO is responsible for the Make and Source processes. Ensuring flawless execution of regional processes. Drive continuous improvements to create value, increase efficiency, and support business growth through operational excellence for all Asia Pacific markets & plants.

This position reports to the Regional Business Process Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive continuous improvement of business processes and systems, related reports and metrics
- Identify opportunities for innovation, develop solutions, project proposals and implementation plans
- Lead implementation of improvements using project management methodologies
- Partner with Country Supply Chain teams and Regional Information Technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement, align on priorities, and ensure timely delivery of improvements
- Lead governance activities to ensure consistency and compliance between process design and actual country processes. Identify gaps in processes, systems, and capability and implement improvements.
- Lead routine audits in plants and across the region to ensure regional compliance with tax, legal, quality, and other regulatory requirements. Identify gaps and action plans to improve.
- Lead capability building activities regionally; assess current state, identify capability gaps, develop training and certification programs, deploy and deliver training to the countries
- Lead team of country process owners (or SME's) to improve processes and results in the region, develop an ongoing communication plan, and lead the change management approach
- Partner with related functions, such as sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing, distribution, and IT, to ensure efficient and integrated business processes and an enterprise-wide approach
- Represent the region in global process teams, ensure alignment of regional model to global model, participate in development of global initiatives, and support implementation throughout the region
- Participate as team leader or team member in regional projects, strategic initiatives and technology innovation projects to improve processes, systems, and results throughout the region. Examples of projects include: APO or other ERP modules, supplier network connectivity, customer collaboration, lean master data, manufacturing network optimization, spend analytics.
- Evaluate new processes and technologies and determine if relevant for the region
- Use analytical and quantitative methods, including Lean, Six Sigma and Zero Defect, to understand, predict, and improve supply chain processes
- Assemble data, analyze performance, identify issues and opportunities, and develop recommendations
- Report process performance and analyze to identify improvement areas
- Analyze and report KPI results for the region, identify opportunities for improvements in the countries and across the region, benchmark results internally and externally and develop action plans to improve

Qualifications


REQUIRED

- Professional Experience: minimum 5 years work experience in Supply Chain or IT (production planning, supply planning, demand planning, manufacturing, customer service, or distribution)
- Strong project management experience, process improvement, and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborative leadership skills (strategic & tactical), able to negotiate, influence, align, and prioritize
- Strong multi-cultural communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong management experience, coaching and developing individuals, leading teams
- Results-orientated, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team-player
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business (Supply Chain) or technical discipline (IT)
- Other Experience: Lean, Six Sigma, SAP ERP systems, reporting, analytics, MS Office tools
- Familiarity with Asian languages preferred

LOCATION

This position is preferably based in Malaysia or Thailand. This is a regional role and is likely to involve regional travel. The role holder will be expected to be based in their current country of residence, within Asia-Pacific.
