In order to leverage our global transportation spend and capabilities better, CLS Regional Transportation team was created on cross-sector basis, e.g. serving Pharma, Medical Device & Diagnostics and Consumer Sectors of Johnson & Johnson. This organization took responsibility for all transportation for J&J on a global basis.

The CLS Regional Transportation Team is organized in 4 pillars:

- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Lead
- Transportation Operations Lead
- Trade Compliance & Security Lead
- Transportation Technology, Analytics & Business Processes Lead

Functions

For this organization we are posting a position of Trade Compliance Tender Manager

He or she is responsible for leading all Tenders related to Customs Clearance services and Transportation services where applicable.

This in view of reducing the number of intermediaries to a manageable number, ensuring strict adherence to compliance, regulatory requirements and minimizing risks associated with the movement of commercial goods across international borders.

He or she will work with the regional Trade Compliance lead to develop regional processes & procedures in adherence to local laws and regulations as well as in accordance with corporate compliance and WWT (worldwide transportation) goals, objectives and strategies.

Key Performance Metrics

- Reduction the number of Brokers Cross-Sector to 1 to 2 per country
- Improvement Customs Brokerage processes and service levels
- Contracts in place including predefined KPI's
- Operational support to all JNJ businesses in case of customs or VAT audits
- Minimization of regulatory and security detrimental issues to business

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Initiate, pilot and monitor TENDERS to ensure a consistent process in the selection and management of JNJ Customs Brokers.
- Ensure Customs Brokers capabilities and competencies for the various trade compliance areas. Including but not limited to classification, valuation, and recordkeeping
- Improve the management of JNJ Customs Brokers, implement SOP's and related monitoring tools to lead Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Perform Compliance audits on selected brokers
- He or She will collaborate with WWT (worldwide transportation), business owners and stakeholders from different sectors, as well as CLS Transportation team members of other pillars to drive change and implement strong trade compliance guidelines.
- Occasional travel will be required. Constant communication with internal stakeholders is a must.

Qualifications


REQUIRED

- Degree, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
- Work experience of 5 ~10 years in related field.
- Trade compliance knowledge
- Fluent in English, fluency in additional languages is a plus
- A background in transportation / logistics, tender management
- Strong leadership skills, able to convince people and to federate around projects
- Strong analytical and organization skills with excellent capabilities in process mapping.
- Proven experience in working in highly complex environment.
- Track record of success in delivering business results

Desired

- Preferably MS level or equivalent in logistics, supply chain
