Johnson & Johnson Sales and Logistics Company, LLC (SLC) provides sales, marketing and logistical services to U.S. retail customers on behalf of the U.S. consumer companies, and leadership for an emerging global customer base in the areas of transportation, enterprise-wide systems, business processes and global customer development.
The Business Leader, Retail Customer Logistics is responsible for direct supervision and leadership for a diverse team of Analysts with responsibility for Order Management and Logistic Efficiency Improvement activities. The Business Leader, Retail Customer Logistics will lead activities around coaching, mentoring, and personnel development planning for their team. This individual will collaborate with internal SLC operations partners to improve service, efficiency, and communication to customers while driving key metrics such as on time delivery, truckload weight and customer in-stock (DCFR/RIS) improvements.
The Business Leader, Retail Customer Logistics will assess skill levels and partner to assist with career development plans for direct reports, as well as provide input on organizational structure and business strategy to the Retail Customer Logistics Management Team. The Business Leader, Retail Customer Logistics will achieve customer penetration and relationship building in the functional areas across logistics. They are the main supervisory point of contact for all Customer Logistics Analysts. They will have an indirect relationship with all internal deliver functions of Transportation, Distribution, Franchise Operations, and Trade Customization.

Qualifications
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in customer service, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain management, logistics or materials management is required. A Bachelors Degree is required. It is preferred that this candidate have experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools, Training or Certification. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required. SAP experience is preferred. Prior supervisory/leadership experience is strongly preferred. Consumer Products Industry experience and direct trade account experience is preferred.
The ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively across many internal departments is required. This candidate will have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively while maintaining a strong sense of urgency. Additionally, this candidate will be able to work independently, in an ever-changing matrix environment. The qualified candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and communicate findings to varying layers of the organization. Strong quantitative skills are also required.
This candidate will be able to travel 10% of the time domestically as required by business. This position is located in Skillman, NJ.
