In order to leverage our global transportation spend and capabilities better, CLS Regional Transportation team was created on cross-sector basis, e.g. serving Pharma, Medical Device & Diagnostics and Consumer Sectors of Johnson&Johnson. This organization took responsibility for all transportation for J&J on a global basis.
The CLS Regional Transportation Team is organized in 4 pillars:
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Lead
- Transportation Operations Lead
- Trade Compliance & Security Lead
- Transportation Technology, Analytics & Business Processes Lead

Functions
For this organization we are posting a position of Transportation Compliance Associate Manager.
He or she is responsible for ensuring all Logistics Intermediaries are compliant with JNJ requirements in terms of FCPA (Foreign Corruption Practices Act), contracts, QA and Security.
This in order to ensuring strict adherence to compliance, regulatory requirements and minimizing risks associated with the movement of commercial goods across international borders.
He or she will work with the regional Trade Compliance lead to develop regional processes & procedures in adherence to local laws and regulations as well as in accordance with corporate compliance and WWT (worldwide transportation) goals, objectives and strategies.
Key Performance Metrics
- Full contract coverage of awarded Logistics Intermediaries after tender
- Regional coordination, reporting and escalation procedure for proper DD execution
- Alignment on QA standards with Franchises QA groups.
- Mapping and understanding of Incoterms + harmonization plan
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute Due Diligence on awarded Logistics Intermediaries and partner with the Trade Compliance Tender Manager
- Regional HCBI (Healthcare Business Integrity) coordinator ensuring follow-up of DD executed by CLS Clusters + global quarterly reporting.
- Ensure proper contract coverage, roll-out and follow-up
- Develop and maintain QA requirements with CLS QA group
- Simplify and standardize Incoterms in collaboration with WWT: define rules and R&R for transport ownership
- Develop Security program in collaboration with Global Security group using risk analysis approach
- Support operations in implementing Global Security layers
- Occasional travel will be required. Constant communication with internal stakeholders is a must.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
Background and Experience
- Degree, preferably in logistics and/or supply chain
- Relevant work experience of 2 ~5 years
- A background in transportation / logistics
- Strong leadership skills, able to convince people and to federate around projects
- Strong analytical and organization skills with excellent capabilities in process mapping.
- Proven experience in working in highly complex environment.
- Track record of success in delivering business results
- Fluent in English, fluency in additional languages is a plus
Desired
- Preferably MS level or equivalent in logistics, supply chain
