The Americas Product Director will be accountable for marketing objectives for high-level disinfection products. Supports development of long- and short-term US Marketing plans for the product area. Manages all marketing initiatives to achieve US objectives and drive profitable sales. Monitors and controls budget and assesses promotional effectiveness. Collaborates with Group Product Director and ASP Marketing Communications to develop plan for advertising, collateral material development, interactive communications, trade shows and social media initiatives. Works with external agencies and consultants supporting product area initiatives. Proactively solicits customer feedback, competitor intelligence and local market market intelligence and shares with US Marketing Director and Marketing team. Supports US Sales team with tools, training and resources necessary to achieve sales forecasts and objectives. Ensures that product area initiatives comply with Quality System processes (e.g. Complaints and Product Recalls). Works with Group Product Director to forecast customer demand and participates in review of sales forecasts for assigned products and markets. Identifies potential product enhancements and prioritizes development.

Qualifications


BA/BS degree in Marketing or a related business field is required. A minimum of 4 years of Commercialization experience is required. Medical Device capital sales experience is highly preferred. Healthcare experience is preferred. Must have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented. Experience in new product launches is preferred. Global experience is preferred. Experience in product development including needs assessment, market research, portfolio management and product lifecycle management is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
