Serves as primary Physician Administrative liaison for WF-St. Joseph and The Wisconsin Heart Hospital to formal Medical Staff Organization (Chief of Staff, Medical Executive Committee, Medical Staff Office and Medical Staff Committees).
Coordinates with Director of Provider Relations related to Medical Staff development and recruiting, activities related to the Physician Partnership Team, and Physician retention (including practice building)
Participates in management of Quality Improvement with the Quality Improvement Director; member of the Quality Leadership Council, member of the Hospital Quality Council, key contributor to Case Management efforts to ensure efficient and cost effective use of hospital resources.
Participates with other Executive-Team members and Leadership Council in developing and implementing strategies and action plans related to the Hospital Strategic Plan.
Works closely with Chief Medical Officer, and other site based VPMAs.
Oversees Practitioner Credentialing and Privileging Process.
Key contributor, along with Executive-Team and Leadership, in development of core program and specialty service areas as the cardiovascular, women’s services, oncology, and orthopedics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Medical Doctor with current Medical licensure in State of Wisconsin. Qualified applicants will be a respected Clinical practitioner, with demonstrated successful Administrative experience. Demonstrated ability and experience to successfully relate to and work with a large number of publics including, but not limed to the Medical Staff, Management Staff, Board of Directors, employees, patients, and general public.
