Job Text

Leads and advances the MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) in people, practices and performance to ensure consistency of approach and alignment with brewery strategy. Identifies, coordinates, and actively participates in strategic, systemic and situational level operational improvement. Leads change and manages focused improvement initiatives with linkage to brewery strategy. Develops team member knowledge and capabilities in best practices and supports growth and team maturity.

Oversees the MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) and the GEM assessment process. Acts in a governance role with respect to the implementation of the Manufacturing Way 11 Best Practices and the breweryâ s high level change plans.

Builds and develops a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development. Leads, mentors, and develops assigned team in Performance, Career, and Talent Management. Promotes and creates an environment which engages all employees.

Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality of MillerCoors products.

Education level and/or experience



  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Technology or Management
  • 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, to include at least 3 years in developing and implementing supply chain, production, and process improvement initiatives within the context of world class manufacturing strategies.

Skills and/or knowledge


  • Proven track record in leading and managing change
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated understanding of World Class and Lean Manufacturing beliefs and best practices
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking to anticipate and respond to future needs of the organization
  • Analytical/logical problem solving skills
  • Prior experience in applying performance improvement techniques
  • Project management capabilities to ensure delivery of initiatives from start-up through implementation and entrenchment, using appropriate milestones and communication
  • Ability to apply problem solving methodology at all levels
  • An understanding of financial management tools

  • Ability to lead and manage change processes
  • Confident and assertive in leading and delegating at all levels
  • Ability to set priorities and provide appropriate structure to problems/issues
