Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Current enrollment in BS or MS degree program in plant science or related field
- Sophomore standing or higher (but not yet graduated)
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0
- Personal transportation
- Ability to pass Level 2 drivers training
- Willingness/ability to relocate for the summer if necessary
- Interest in exploring a career in agriculture
- Detail and results-orientation with the ability to work independently
- Strong motivational, organization and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Prior nursery or farm experience
- Previous internship completed in related area
