Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Total Rewards Lead, located in Markham.

Role Summary

This position manages Total Rewards across all affiliated companies for Johnson & Johnson Canada. The work associated with this role includes consultation, complex analyses, regulatory/legal compliance, and management of third party consultants on matters related to compensation, benefits and perquisites. Working closely in partnership with HR teams in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Consumer sectors, this position will support the analysis of business issues and development of solutions in support of key stakeholders needs, serve as primary contact for compensation and benefit matters that impact the Canadian organization, and ensure coordination/integration of global and regional initiatives at the country level.

Responsibilities

Manages all compensation, benefit and perquisite activities, including leaves. Engages key stakeholders, both within and across functional areas to ensure effective implementation of related systems and processes including annual compensation planning and benefits enrolment.

Collaborates with HR and other stakeholders to ensure policies appropriately reflect Johnson &Johnson's compensation and benefits philosophy and business requirements. Secures and analyzes competitive total rewards data and develops recommendations as appropriate to maintain competitive posture of programs, policies and practices.

Develops and implements strategies and practices to retain talent and facilitate the movement of resources across the organization.

Supports regional and country activities associated with maintaining the integrity of the global compensation framework including validation of job definition criteria and job leveling. Ensures consistent application across Johnson & Johnson affiliate companies.

Effectively manages all change efforts impacting the Canadian organization including deployment of global policies and programs. Develops communication tools to build management and employee awareness and understanding of policies, programs and processes.

Manages work of third party vendors and consultants on matters related to compensation, benefits and perquisites for Canadian affiliate companies. Monitors and provides oversight to all related contracts.

Leads, coaches, and develops compensation and benefit professionals.

Qualifications


BA/BS degree required, with minimum of 7 years' related experience.

A CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation is an asset.

The successful candidate must have in-depth, management level experience in Compensation and Benefits with a strong grounding in Canadian regulatory and legislative requirements.

Experience leading cross-functional, cross-business teams within a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment is required.

Demonstrated results through superior business partnering/collaboration, strategic thinking and analytical skills/project management skills are required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
