Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- BS in Agronomy or related field of study or B.S. degree in Plant Breeding or Agronomy with plant breeding research experience.
- Knowledge and work experience with plant breeding methodologies and operations.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to write and speak English fluently.
- Excellent team leadership and management skills, effective verbal communication, and ability to work both independently as well as in a team based work environment
- Excellent organizational, record keeping and supervisory skills.
Proficient in computer skills related to Microsoft Office suite.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- MS in Plant Breeding, Agronomy or related field of study
- Understanding of genetics and statistics
- Experience in irrigated nursery management, farm equipment operation and repair.
