Job description
Role is performed by an IT Test Specialist or an Advisory System Engineer resource with skills in the testing of a wide set of applications and components. This skill set is to also include software development requirements elicitation, documentation and management. These roles provide a basic skill set and foundation for software development and test in continued more complex roles/competencies of Test Lead, Test Manager, Systems Engineering Professional, IT Architect and Complex Systems Integration. Although this is considered to be an entry level role and resource assigned to this role typically can be assigned to assist Sr. System Engineers, Test Leads, Test Managers, these resources often perform back up responsibilities for the senior technical leads and are often quickly placed on their own projects in performance of these roles, depending on account need and engagement feedback .
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 6 months experience in Test Execution
- At least 6 months experience in Defect Management
- At least 6 months experience in Advisory Systems Engineering- Software Requirements Management
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years experience in Test Execution
- At least 2 years experience in Defect Management
- At least 2 years experience in Advisory Systems Engineering- Software Requirements Management
- At least 6 months experience in JAR-JAD Facilitation
