Codman Neuro is the Neurological business focused on neurosurgery, neurovascular and neuromodulation, offering a broad portfolio of solutions including programmable shunt systems, catheters, trauma monitoring devices, drug pumps, neurovascular coils, liquid embolics and vascular reconstruction devices.

The qualified candidate will develop and execute Codman's Drug Delivery strategic sales, training and implementation initiatives and field based marketing programs at a local and national level.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of implant, follow-up support and troubleshooting techniques (such as proper device selection, appropriate programming, correct implantation and testing of all device systems. Conduct didactic and hands-on procedural training with HCPs including physicians, therapy consultants via one on one sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums. Ensure proper implementation of program ideas & seek input from the sales organization for development of new programs. Develop effective working relationships with new and existing clinicians, patient advocacy groups, and professional associations. Ensure rigorous strategic & financial assessment of all program ideas & prioritization of various programs. Track return on investment for all programs. Attend and provide technical clinical support at appropriate congresses. Work with Regional and Divisional Sales Managers, Clinical Specialists and Marketing to prioritize field support. Work with Sales Reps and HCPs to support clinical issues particular to individual accounts. Research clinical publications to provide relevant information on treatment modalities. Extensive travel required; weekdays and weekends. Perform other related activities as asssigned.

Qualifications


To be considered for this position, a minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. 5+ years medical device experience in marketing or sales, Drug Delivery and Intrathecal Baclofen Therapy experience strongly preferred. Must be a highly motivated, mature individual with track record of selling achievement, leadership, strategic thinking, and team collaboration. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required (written and verbal). Development & execution of marketing campaigns / product launches / sales-selling process; Significant travel up to 75% required. Proficiency in Personal computer software Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook) required.
