Position Overview

Enables activities and leads changes for Supply Chain & Customer Logistics Services to ensure optimization and integrity of SAP and related systems.

Key responsibilities:

Systems Integrity:

Lead testing initiatives related to SAP system changes across Supply Chain & Customer Logistics Services.

Train Supply Chain & Customer Logistics Services on new functionality implementations and changes affecting current processes.

Support troubleshooting/testing of SAP system issues.

Ensure informal testing process for system changes are adhered to.

Clearly define and articulate business user requirements for system change requests.

Backup support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) troubleshooting and implementation efforts.

Process Improvements:

Lead Supply Chain & Customer Logistics Services strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiencies, including post implementation control checks.

Key Internal Partners:

With various IT groups as key business partners for SAP projects, system enhancements, and break fix solutions.

Work with other functional business partners to ensure seamless integration of all key systems and processes: Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc…

Works with SOX team to ensure SAP solutions and process improvements are compliant.

Technology strategies:

Participate as the Customer Logistics Services and/or Supply Chain business lead as part of a cross functional team for new SAP functional implementations/upgrades, as required.

Reporting:

Adhoc SAP queries, as required

Collaboration with outside business partners:

Communication other affiliate organizations as required, for best practice and benchmark opportunities.

Involvement in any other appropriate organizations (SAP user groups, local community, etc), developing contacts for benchmarking, best practice opportunities.

Qualifications


Essential:

University degree

5 years experience in Supply Chain & Customer Logistics Services SAP system.

Strong SAP technology skills, with in-depth business knowledge of Customer Logistics processes.

Desirable:

PE / Six Sigma - Green Belt / Lean Manufacturing an asset

Bilingualism (English / French) an asset

2 yrs + in a customer facing function

2 yrs + in a supply planning function
