Joining on a 12 month fixed term contract the Trainee Territory Manager is fully responsible for the territory described, promoting and selling the complete range of Cardiovascular & Endovascular solutions to the target audience, ensuring an on target performance within the projected sales target for the territory. Foster customer relationships and adding value to the customer will be the main driver to be successful.

- To achieve quarterly and end of year individual targets in line with Company Business Plan ensuring ASP's and sales are maintained.
- Work closely with setting and agreeing objectives to ensure above is met
- Establish excellent working relationships with customers to include Consultant cardiologists, Interventional radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, radiographers, registrars, nurses, business managers and procurement managers.
- Maintain account plans, customer contact details, review territory plans on a frequent basis
- Monitor daily sales and measure results to ensure up-to-date knowledge of accounts to allow for Smart planning.
- Maintain expert knowledge of products and procedures of own portfolio and competition
- Spend time in angiography suites and vascular theatres with Dr's trialling products and advising on usage of said products
- Manage and monitor consignment in line with Cordis policy, keeping accurate records at all times. Awareness of audit requirements. (twice a year)
- Facilitate customer education using in house training modules on products and simulator sessions
- Collaborate with and support the regional and national team to ensure ultimate goals are consistently met.
- Establish good internal working relationships with Marketing, Customer Services, Commercial Team, Supply Chain and work closely with them.
- Ensure that responsibilities as defined in the J&J Credo and all compliance and conduct policies and procedures, are followed at all times.
- Report product complaints in a timely manner

Qualifications


The successful candidate will be confident, self-driven and highly competitive yet customer centric.

An ability to effectively demonstrate products and present is required, as is suitability for spending a significant amount of time in the theatre / catheter lab environment

The successful candidate will also have a strong affinity for working closely with others in a team and will show entrepreneurial behaviour and have the emotional maturity and competence to build good relationships based on trust and respect.

Personal drive, commitment, organisational and business skills are key qualities required to deliver outstanding results within this growing business. coupled with excellent communication skills.

You must also demonstrate excellent PC skills and have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office packages.

A full clean driving licence is essential.
