The Business Consultant/Analyst Lead will support national claims and health plan initiatives, providing high quality and cost effective project management, management consulting, analytic support and technical expertise. Overall responsibilities to include:

- Performance and metric definition and monitoring, project dashboard development and monitoring
- Developing business cases, and providing client support during system development and implementation
- Analysis and evaluation of business and system processes, conducting gap assessment, and identifying functional requirements
- Project and program management, team facilitation, coordinating with other project/program managers
- Delivering practical, significant, and measurable improvements in quality, service, and efficiency
- Developing and implementing recommended changes to business processes
- Preparing appropriate documentation to communicate and validate information
- Understanding the business processes of assigned partners and how they relate to functional areas
- Dissemination of best practices, providing recommendations for organizational alignment
- Establishing effective working relationships with upstream and downstream business partners
- Coordinates ongoing application support with the various technical areas to ensure continued application/process usage and success
- Develop test plans
- Provide product/process expertise to client groups, delivers presentations, demonstrations and training for application systems
- Coordinate installation and first-use of new applications/process.
- Drive excellence through continued learning and strengthening of expertise.
- Make needed changes to address performance problems or take advantage of opportunities.
- Seek ways to reduce variation in systems and processes to improve consistency and reliability, directly impacting performance and member/customer service.
- Continually monitor quality of service across functions and systems

Qualifications:

Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years, to include 2 or more years in a consulting role
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment or 5+ years of experience working in a department relevant to the current posting
- Bachelor's degree in business/health care administration or related discipline
- Certification or advanced qualification by a third party association that matches the function or field applicable to the business discipline is preferred
