The Design Engineering and Equipment Support Departments Role within MillerCoors is:

To provide the planning, engineering and design as well as organizational leadership and cross-functional communications to deliver effective engineering solutions and quality engineering services in support of the Packaging design engineering goals within the strategic vision of the Company.

Design Engineering and Equipment Support Interns Role is:

To participate in the planning and scheduling of packaging line design efforts.  Provide technical knowledge while participating in the creation of engineering solutions, incorporating latest technologies, innovation and optimization.  Provide technical and operational support for projects in assistance to the current engineering staff.  Provide technical administrative assistance to the manger of the department. The majority of the projects associated with this position are in the Packaging Departments of the company’s eight major breweries, as well as the Leinenkugel brewery and the various Pilot breweries. Travel will be required to support projects in these locations

Intern Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
  
• Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student working on a Mechanical, Electrical, or Related Engineering degree
  
• Solid knowledge of Engineering Fundamentals
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer
