Packaging Engineering Line Optimization Role within MillerCoors:
The Packaging Equipment Line Optimization Team provides technical expertise, leadership and resources to assist the breweries in improving packaging line equipment reliability, upgrades and documentation, flexibility, change-over, output and reduced operational cost within the 8 breweries .
Packaging Equipment Line Optimization Intern Responsibilities:
• Support multiple equipment managers
• Assist with waste initiatives to include energy, water, beer, and material loss
• Assist with the various vision, and controls systems
• Optimize line performance in output, standards, equipment reliability
• Assist in the development of changeover procedures to meet corporate standards
• Some travel may be required
Intern Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student working on a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SharePoint sites and web-design preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
