Senior Analytics Manager, Business Performance Analysis and Reporting

Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Senior Manager in Oakland to support the Medicare Strategy& National Performance Analytics team.
Essential Functions:
This role is responsible for Membership and Sales Performance analytics of the Medicare business line across all regions, with the objective of continuously finding ways to improve the performance of the business line.
This role will regularly communicate performance findings and insights, as well as goals, strategy, and methodologies to business line leadership.
Develops and manages the regular analytical agenda and ad hoc analysis to better understand and explore hypotheses to improve business line performance.
Manages the production of regular performance reports for all major membership campaigns. This includes the ongoing management of requirements for continuous improvement of all campaigns.
Researches key business issues, directs the collecting and analyzing of quantitative and qualitative data.
This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the reporting infrastructure and data structures needed to report out on all Marketing and Sales performance.
This role will outline and manage the scope of work for the team, setting strategic and business direction and priorities for the team, including maintenance of campaign project schedules.
Provides oversight, coaching & management to senior Consultants and Analysts.
Builds relationships with internal and external partners to collaboratively work toward the improvement of our reporting infrastructure.
Anticipates work and issues from an organizational perspective and departmental perspective.
Is able to frame issues and presentations to senior leaders from their perspective.
Coordinates complex projects involving stakeholders from business and data infrastructure; drives consensus on requirements and requisite project design, implementation and eventual reporting methodologies.
Manages and sometimes leads broad array of quantitative and qualitative issues across sales channels, projects and functional areas.
Manages and sometimes leads highly visible and complex projects relative to reporting performance outcomes and improvements.
Works with SQL and database development and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of content / functional experience that includes performance analysis and reporting
2+ years of management experience
4 year degree or 4 additional years of equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with SQL, database development / maintenance, and Cognos
