Participation in a one year ASHP accredited PGY2 residency program to include multiple areas of advanced clinical and administrative pharmacy practice. Makes members/patients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; develops and sustains productive member/patient relationships Maintains knowledge of and assures departmental compliance with Kaiser Permanente's Principles of Responsibility and policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Essential Functions
Participates in a collaborative interdisciplinary practice to provide comprehensive medication management services and related
clinical activities on core and elective rotations to enhance clinical, management and leadership expertise
Participates in clinical pharmacy research project and prepares a manuscript for publication submission
Provides educational programs for health care professionals, students and members
Participates in national pharmacy conferences for professional networking, to discuss the benefits of PGY2 residency training and to
share research experiences with peers
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy is required.
- License, Certification &/or Designation: Pharmacy registration ('license') in Colorado is required.
- Completion of PGY1 residency is required
