Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Agriculture, Ag Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience and training, preferably in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in wiring and running electrical conduits for equipment. Experience with the operation of forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
  • Experienced in the interpretation of blueprints, and sketching electrical 
  • control drawings to include Programmable Logic Control systems.

     

  • Experience using electrical and mechanical measurement devices 
  •  Including micrometers, depth gauges, feeler gauges, dial gauges,
  • voltmeter, etc.
  • Experience of low and medium voltage systems and familiarity with high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Safety Standards such as US OSHA Law; NFPA 70E; National Electrical Code (NEC); IEEE
  • Knowledge in repair and operation of Packaging Equipment
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and orally
  • Ability to create solutions to modify or retrofit electrical controls.
  • Knowledge of building electrical codes, and safety related regulations on
  •   electrical equipment.
  • Ability to guide Maintenance Technicians on electrical safety.
  • Ability to repair equipment without instruction or based on manufacturer's
  •  manuals.
  • Ability to generate and implement Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plans
  • Knowledge of phone and emergency alarms management systems
  • ·Ability to work in conjunction with contractors on tasks and projects as assigned
