Job description
Candidate has solid relational database knowledge as well as interpersonal and communication skills. The role will include administering highly technical DB2 Mainframe, DB2 LUW, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Oracle and working on the latest versions and technologies. It also includes installing and upgrading databases in accordance with internal policy, monitoring events and systems load as well as seeking tuning opportunities.
In addition to technical skills candidate should have a positive attitude and be a good team player.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in Developer / administrative experience in required database (DBMS in Financial Services arena, DB2 Mainframe, DB2 LUW, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Oracle)
- At least 2 years experience in Performed database administration, including tasks such as: loading data, managing data security and user access, performance monitoring and tuning, and all aspects of data integrity, backup, recovery
- At least 2 years experience in Export, Import, Pivots, Load, Backup and restore DB in test environment. No production
- At least 2 years experience in Performs physical data modeling, and physical database design based on a thorough knowledge of modeling techniques, the modeling tools available on the project, and the business functions of the subje
- Readiness to travel Up to 1 day a week
- English: Basic knowledge
