The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing projects or programs of significant size and complexity. Also capable of leading large, geographically distributed, cross-line-of-business teams. Responsible for managing work planning, costs, schedule, revenue, profitability and client satisfaction. Manages client business and technology stakeholders, has strong negotiation and communication skills, including experience in building relationships with senior leaders. Effective in executing programs amidst significant business and technical challenges. Has good working knowledge of one or more market segments/ industries / technologies / discipline trends. Demonstrates working knowledge of IBM strategy and can effectively execute to that strategy with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and is able to perform many tasks independently. Requires extensive project management experience in the Banking industry.
This position requires 75% travel.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in project financial forecasting and reporting
- At least 3 years experience in leading large (contract value 5 million +) systems integration and/or custom development projects in a consulting/client management environment.
- At least 3 years experience in leading geographically distributed (resources in 2 or more countries) teams
- At least 3 years experience in Banking Industry
- At least 3 years experience in Program Management
- At least 2 years experience in Client Relationship Management
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- At least 5 years experience in project financial forecasting and reporting
