Regional Finance Compliance Advisor

Maidenhead, Berkshire

As Regional Compliance Advisor you will be working with the J&J Consumer EAME companies to share best practise and ensure strong regional compliance and tight Sarbanes Oxley controls.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Advisor for Sarbanes Oxley and internal control compliance for the Consumer EAME region.
- Ensure that all regional DCMs are updated with current changes and distributed to the relevant affiliates in the region.
- Maintain regional SOPs to ensure in line with current processes and find opportunities to align processes across the region.
- Key regional contact for Metric Stream tool, the new Global J&J Risk and Compliance solution, which includes SOX 404, as point of escalation for any queries.
- Responsible to ensure that the test plans and scripts are up to date in Metric Stream
- Ownership and communication of hand off processes for Consumer EAME.
- Owner of the Regional Compliance SharePoint. Promote across the region and ensure up to date with all relevant documents and is in a format that it is clear to the users.
- Be involved in SAP projects to ensure compliant for go-live and in line with regional standards.
- Assist Regional Compliance Manager to work with MRCs to ensure they are fully prepared for Corporate Internal Audit visits and that findings from the audits are kept to a minimum.
- Assist Regional Compliance Manager in providing onsite support to allow regional operating companies to maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance and to ensure good internal controls are in place.

Qualifications


- Fully qualified accountant PQE with strong work experience in a financial environment.
- Audit experience
- Prepared to travel in connection with professional responsibilities - up to 50%
