Janssen Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario, is currently recruiting for a 16 month Supply Chain Operations Associate Intern. Start date is targeted for May 21, 2012.

Janssen Inc. products are sourced from Johnson & Johnson and 3rd party manufacturers around the world including Europe, the United States and Puerto Rico. The Supply Chain Operations Associate Intern will perform professional allowance calculations and maintain/track contract adherence for Janssen's authorized generic company (Patriot), support process enhancement initiatives involving process mapping and analysis, as well as support a variety of related day-to-day departmental analytical tasks including the preparation of monthly dashboards and departmental optimization projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform professional allowance calculations as well as support process improvement opportunities for Patriot (Janssen's authorized generic division)

Perform daily, weekly, monthly analytics and follow ups supporting the various Janssen businesses

Develop, implement and monitor reporting processes including the preparation of key SC&O departmental dashboards

Monitor and track contract adherence

Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications


Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities are required

Experience with process mapping and systems design to support business processes improvement projects

Proficient in Microsoft Office (namely Excel and Powerpoint) required

A sense of urgency to respond to issues, initiate improvements and manage multiple priorities in a timely, accurate and efficient manner is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Ability to work independently and in teams is required

Knowledge of SAP, COGNOS and pharmaceutical industry is an asset
