Description

Ethicon Endo-Surgery a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for a Clinical Education Specialist to be located in Cincinnati, OH.

Ethicon Endo-Surgery develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures, focusing on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastrointestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. The Clinical Educational Specialist will have a proficient understanding, communicating and educating on the safe and effective use of J&J Products. This individual will demonstrate basic knowledge in Human and Animal anatomy, medical language, surgical procedures, procedural steps and product used in each procedure. He/she will interact, communicate and educate all levels of customers such as Heath Care Professionals, Sales Reps, Executive Management, etc., both international and domestic. This person will demonstrate excellent presentation skills to perform product in-services on a variety of simulated models. The incumbent will demonstrate understanding of Ethicon organization, business, strategies, goals and objectives and how it relates to the Medical Device Industry. The Specialist will create effective partnerships with Marketing, Sales and Professional Education and other stakeholders to maximize and support educational programs. He/she will interact with, coach and train customers on a daily basis in a rapidly changing environment. This person will have the ability to immediately build a relationship with customers for flawless execution of the training lab. He/she will take initiative to continue to enhance knowledge on education of product, procedures, tools and models. The individual will demonstrate proper preparation for successful execution of educational training events and participate in on-going training for new products, procedures, tools and models.

Qualifications


A Bachelors degree is required. A concentrated degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare is highly desired. At least 2 years experience in a business environment working in the Healthcare, Life Science, Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical industry is required. Demonstrated leadership and initiative is required. Troubleshooting complex problems and developing solutions is required. This person must have the ability to make quick decisions and work in a team environment. Experience with computer software such as Windows, MS applications, Apple iPad, enterprise CRM system and Web Applications is required. Public speaking ability and strong presentation skills is required. This person must be willing to work in a simulated Operating Room environment. The role will require up to 20% travel and be based in Cincinnati, OH.
