Ethicon, Inc., a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Clinical Sales Associate in the Ohio area.

Ethicon, Inc. develops and markets products within three divisions: Ethicon Products for wound closure and tissue repair; Johnson & Johnson Wound Management with products designed to manage intra-operative bleeding and Ethicon Women's Health & Urology with minimally invasive gynecological and urological solutions.

The Clinical Sales Associate position at Johnson and Johnson Wound Management, Ethicon Biosurgery franchise is an excellent opportunity to make an impact in the sales of the Hemostasis product line. The CSA will support a sales division by expanding the sales of wound management products and converting competitive products in a manner that is commensurate with company policy and sales direction. The CSA will accomplish this by partnering with and learning sales processes from tenured sales professionals in the field, as well as making contributions in an Operating Room environment.

In this role, the Clinical Sales Associate will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to physicians. The CSA will also need to demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. Additionally, the CSA will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and adhering to healthcare compliance guidelines which leads the customer to action.

To be eligible for the Clinical Sales Associate position, applicants must currently reside in the posted territory or be willing to relocate there at their own expense. Please note that within approximately 12 to 18 months of being hired, the CSA will be promoted into a Sales Representative position and possibly relocate into a different geography.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A minimum 3 years of outside sales experience is required. Medical Device sales experience strongly preferred. 3-5 years combined medical device and competitive business-to-business sales experience preferred. A valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty states and a clean driving record is required. The ability to work in a hospital/operating room environment is required. Willingness to travel up to 40% depending on geography is required. To be eligible for this position, applicants must currently reside in the posted territory or be willing to relocate there at their own expense. Willingness to relocate within 12 - 18 months of employment is required.
