Position Description: The role of the Office Clerk is to provide clerical support as it pertains to the warehouse, transportation, or general offices and ensure that clerical functions are completed timely and accurately. Personnel in these groups may have varying degrees of customer contact levels.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements: Has a strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skill
Has the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder
Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize to successfully complete tasks, both long-term and short term
Will interact well with customers, both internal and external, and a team player
Preparation, transmittal, audit, adjustments of weekly Payroll for location
Coordinate all facility functions (Employee Appreciation’s, On-site visits)
Processing weekly accounts payable (copying invoices, sending to Corporate)
Ordering of all office supplies and equipment
Daily interaction with management team to ensure service levels are being met and issues are resolved.
Conduct New Hire Orientations and other HR Functions as needed
Perform daily/weekly/monthly accounting functions to support business requirements (invoicing, re-classes, reconciliations, etc.)
Analysis of monthly and YTD operations performance with OP’s personnel to explain variances of actual results to expected results (Plan and/or Forecast)
Time & attendance tracking
Reporting as per operational need
