Solution Consulting: includes consulting with Business Partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates (Business Engagement Consultants) and translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture (Solution Consultants) and assuring the integration of corporate business application architectures.
Essential Functions:

Assist the director in development ofNursing terminologypolicies, procedures, and processes.
Develop, measure and monitor the execution of Nursing terminology policies, procedures, and processes, as well as initiate and evaluates process improvements in order to deliver consistent, clinically meaningful, accurate and useful interface terminology.
Works on complex issues where analysis of the situation or data requires in-depth knowledge of terminology standards,TerminologyTeamorganizational objectives and Kaiser Permanente strategies.
Implements nursing terminology strategies and policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria
Has process responsibility for shared services or matrixed individuals
Work with other members of the team to ensure nursing terminology strategies are consistently applied in other aspects of terminology development and mainteance.
Acts as a change agent to change thinking and gain acceptance of the business partners
Presents, organizes, and conveys problems/issues to Director or other business partners and works toward resolution.
Contributes to the development of departmental strategy and tactics as well as terminology team strategy formulation and execution.
Coordinates planning activities with team members to accomplish goals, allocate resources, and track results.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing Informatics with minimum of 10 years of equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Nursing Informatics or Clinical Informatics and Terminology Development and Maintenance, including expertise in standard Nursing terminology, such as NIC, NOC, and NANDA, plus SNOMED, ICD9, ICD10, and CPT4. Additionally, the candidate must be experienced in managing terminology projects from gathering requirements, setting strategies, implementation, and terminology development and maintenance in a complex healthcare or electronic medical vendor organizations.
