Job description
Position requires expertise in large scale system test engineering. This position also requires experience in testing systems, integrated and non-integrated, PowerBuilder software testing, network and hardware architectures, front end and backend testing, creation and execution of automated test cases, as well as full life cycle responsibilities, including testing requirements, design, software, etc. in large scale environments and related matters. In addition, this position requires strong communication and writing skills, comprehensive understanding of the DHS SELC process, Section 508 Accessibility Testing, Test Automation, performance and stress testing, integrated financial system testing, and the ability to handle multiple tasking as assigned.
Some of our client engagements do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2 years experience in System Lifecycle Development (SELC/SLC).
- At least 2 years experience in ISO 9000, CMM/CMMI and/or ITIL.
- At least 2 years experience in Test Engineering in Federal procurements
- At least 1 year experience in test case creation, testing documentation development
- At least 1 year experience in writing SQL for backend testing
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years experience in System Lifecycle Development (SELC/SLC).
- At least 4 years experience in ISO 9000, CMM/CMMI and/or ITIL.
- At least 4 years experience in Test Engineering in Federal procurements
- At least 2 years experience in test case creation, testing documentation development
- At least 2 years experience in writing SQL for backend testing
- At least 2 years experience in Rational Test Manager, Automated test script generation, Performance test script generation and/or Section 508 Accessibility Testing.
- Security clearance of MBI
