Job description

The AMS Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for the initial qualification and development of new and/or emerging application business opportunities. Works with IBM extended teams as well as customer/prospect executives to quickly determine if an opportunity should be developed, and if so a vision of how that opportunity will create value for the client.
Is responsible for creating and building relationships that will contribute to achieving the teamâ??s assigned profit, revenue and signing objectives.

Acknowledged as an expert in identifying and building discipline/specialty offerings/solutions in new markets. Invests IBM resources to ensure coverage and penetration for new opportunities. Leads very large multifunctional teams to develop and close the most complex opportunities, planning and leading negotiations with all levels of customer/prospect management, including senior executive management. Develops compelling and high quality value propositions/proposals/presentations that differentiates AMS services and solutions, drives collaboration across IBM (GBS, GTS, STG, S&D) with a focus on the GBS Partner community, and drives innovation in core and invest accounts.

Has mastery of IBMâ??s strategies, organization and processes and is acknowledged by peers, senior management inside and outside IBM, as an expert and leader in IBM AMS offerings. Exhibits entrepreneurial behavior with customers/prospects to instill confidence that IBM is committed to building solid relationships in new/emerging market spaces. Develops and demonstrates deep knowledge of client's industry, regulations, environment, competitors, trends and key players and ensures a full understanding of the AMS Smarter Sourcing Strategy.

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in Success and leadership focused on providing Application Management Services to large enterprises.
• At least 5 years experience in Demonstrated Sales Leadership, including ability to understand the client´s market, to identifiy and qualify opportunities.
• At least 5 years experience in Up-to-date knowledge of the AMS industry and associated leading edge solutions and strategies that can be applied to opportunities. Maintains in-depth knowledge of competitive offerings, strategies
• At least 5 years experience in Developed creative and innovative AMS solutions in complex customer / technical environments
• Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
• English: Intermediate

Preferred

• Master's Degree
• At least 5 years experience in Ability to influence C-level Internal and Client executives.
• At least 5 years experience in Strong negotiation skills.
• At least 5 years experience in Understanding of the “numbers” encompassing financial planning and analysis, pricing, capital justification, resource allocation, margins, costs.
• At least 5 years experience in Experience delivering Application Maintenance support solutions in a global delivery model
• At least 5 years experience in Experience in application development
• At least 4 years experience in Experience with Application Porting
• English : Fluent
