Coventry is currently seeking an Trainer – Provider Networks to work with our Provider Networks team.  This position will be located at our West Sacramento, CA office.

 

In the role as Trainer – Provider Networks you will develop, implement, and deliver training programs for internal software business applications and/or organizational processes/policies training in support of the organization’s goals and strategies.

 

The ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES of the Trainer – Provider Networks will be:


    - Develops, implements, and delivers training programs for internal software business applications and/or organizational processes/policies in instructor-led and/or web-based formats to support ongoing improvement of staff and/or shifting business needs. Delivers customized training based on business requests.
    - Develops and administers training assessments, competency testing, and follow-up testing to determine effectiveness of training programs. Develops a training plan based on analysis of results. Drives proactive resolution of skill and competency deficiencies.
    - Develops and edits training documentation to support policies, procedures, system enhancements, and/or internal software business applications. Identifies appropriate training media and methodologies based on the nature of training being delivered, audience location, audience learning styles, and/or point within the learning process.
    - Creates and maintains partnerships with other departments. Consults directly with business leaders to identify project needs and to follow-up on the effectiveness of assigned learning initiatives.
    - May conduct qualitative and/or quantitative audits of business processes, systems, tools, and staff competencies using organizational performance measurements to assess staff training needs.
    - Performs other duties as required. Qualifications:

    The ideal Trainer – Provider Networks will possess the following:


      - High school degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
      - Previous (3-5 years) classroom training and/or teaching experience required.
      - Previous (1-3 years) experience with using internal software business applications required.
      - Experience in developing and designing training modules or curriculum required.
      - Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
      - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
      - Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills.
      - Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in written format.
      - Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.
      - Ability to travel up to 25%.
       

      This position requires excellent communication, attention to detail and proficiency with standard corporate software packages and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
