DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.

The Clinical Data Analyst II will develop and maintain clinical studies in accordance with all applicable local procedures and associated regulatory requirements.

Preparation and review of documentation to support studies through their development life cycle (i.e. user requirement specifications, test scripts and change control documents)

Documenting tasks on a timely and accurate basis including delineation of tasks and estimation of effort.

Provide project details and status updates to support project scheduling and workload management

Interact with Clinical Research and other team members to define and clarify project requirements

Ability to investigate and resolve simple operational issues and escalate complex operational issues to the appropriate resource for resolution

Participation in the development and maintenance of associated operating procedures

Liaise with the department and Information Technology as required for the support and maintenance of software packages associated with the collection of clinical data

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience required and a minimum of 2 years experience in clinical data management and clinical database development.

Experience in at least 1 statistical software packages or clinical database repositories, preferably SAS, Oracle Clinical or Medidata EDC
Proficient with current Windows operating system and MS Office Suite is required.
Ability to utilize above average written and oral communication skills to accomplish department goals and objectives is required.

Ability to comprehend and learn new technology and the ability to prioritize and manage individual time across multiple projects is requried.

Ability to work well in a team environment is required.
