Co-op Opportunities - Co-ops will have the opportunity to work on and lead cross-functional project teams which support current business requirements. Co-ops will be part of a structured co-op program, which consists of a formal mentoring program, visibility to upper management, professional training and networking opportunities.
Co-ops opportunities offer skill building in - Supports systems and processes related to Supply Chain business planning, administers internal websites, maintains custom built MS Office applications, develops business solutions using automation, and identifies new software or applications for use in everyday work. Create Ad Hoc Database Queries· Organize the collaboration of reports summarizing financial, operational, and performance metrics. Create new dynamic reporting tools through VBA Programming to support the Supply Chain National Planning Organization. Complete operational case studies and propose process improvements that drive cost reductions and service improvements. Work with the Distribution Center to provide optimization analysis and hands on process improvements.
The Global Brand Protection department seeks a candidate with excellent communication, organization and analytical skills with an awareness of supply chain and commercial business functions. The Global Brand Protection department is a cross sector and global business function which focuses on the mitigation of illicit trade (counterfeit, diversion). Candidate would be responsible for working within our brand protection collaboration and analytical lab performing various tasks including but not limited to: product sample management and analysis, coordination of Internet monitoring results and insights, and knowledge capture and management. Additionally candidate would be responsible for analyzing various department reports, scorecards and dashboards by not only computing data but identify deficiencies and redundancies that are hindering effectiveness. Candidate should be very comfortable working with data and technology.
Qualifications
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status).
Minimum GPA of 3.0 Cumulative is preferred.
Must currently be enrolled (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the time of co-op.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.
Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills, leadership qualities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives and while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
Be a self-starter with ability to work independently within a matrix environment where tight timelines exist.
Must be able to provide your own transportation to and from work on a daily basis.
Candidate must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) during the 6 month co-op session.
Preferred Majors: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business/Economics, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) Related Technical Majors, Statistics, Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Process/Project Engineering, Science (Biology, Chemistry, etc)
