This Regional Sales Manager position offers the candidate an exciting opportunity to make an impact on patient's lives!

In this role the Regional Sales Manager will responsible for:

· Delivering Animas NTS and (P&L) for Ontario (half of Ont.), Quebec and Atlantic Canada;

· 50% time spent in the field supporting the Territory Managers;

· Coaching Territory Managers, meeting customers, and KOL's;

· Developing relationships with KOL's in key pump centres;

· Supporting Territory Managers with local events, pump information nights, and conferences;

· Work with marketing to develop programs to drive pump sales, in challenged areas;

· Develop relationships with key advocacy groups, ie, JDRF, CD, etc.;

· Troubleshooting system challenges;

· Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.

Due to our direct-to-patient model, the job requires extensive: travel by plane and car; meeting people in their homes and evening and weekend work.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education and experience

Undergraduate degree in business or related discipline is required

Minimum five years field sales experience is required

Five plus year's management experience and in managing people/departments is required

Extensive experience and knowledge in Type 1 diabetes;

Bilingual French/English an asset.

Ability to demonstrate having consistently exceeded objectives in prior positions is required.

The ability to travel 60-70% is required.

An intimate, passionate knowledge of diabetes is preferred.

Works with a high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity.

Self starter - motivated by exceeding the needs of an insulin pump consumer.

Proven history of safe driving is required.
