Description

Perform transactional HR activities within the shared services center. Maintain the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information. Ensures that deliverables meet or exceed individual objectives, adhere to HR Business service center goals, and align with service center strategies.

Main responsibilities concern:

Operation delivery

Employee Data, On-boarding, and Union Administration (creating new employee records and new hire data entry, processing transactions for transfer/ promotion/work employment/separation/transfer/suspension/etc., assuring "right to work" fulfillment,

And will perform the following duties:
- Process transactions as assigned according to proper procedure, policy, and direction.
- Seek guidance or transfer more complex and/or confidential inquiries/requests to the Analyst, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Assure information is complete, accurate, and approved by appropriate superior.
- Ensure all company, federal, state, local, and other applicable compliance requirements are met.
- Assist with review and update of HR services documentation. Work with the Analyst, Supervisor, and/or Manager to assure maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes.

Business Improvement & Alignment
- Ensure a basic understanding of payroll procedures and basic familiarity with broader payroll service center strategies.
- Provide ideas to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll.
- Proactively stay up-to-date on trends and developments within payroll and compliance.
- Assist the manager with capturing and responding to initial payroll related issues, policies, and procedures from payroll functions and the operating companies.

Teamwork and Individual Development
- Participate in and support analysts and manager with departmental initiatives.
- Seek feedback, continuously learn, and take advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience. Monitor results to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist others where possible for the good of the team and department. Adhere to company, department, and team standards of professionalism and protocol. Ensure that behavior complies with the J&J credo and supports a positive work environment

Cualificaciones

Qualifications
- Familiarity with HR functions and operations (Recruitment, employee data management, compensation, benefits). Experience in a call center as a customer service representative preferred.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of HR processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail a must.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and vendors.
- A sense of urgency in resolving customer requests and an ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a pragmatic approach
- Proficiency in interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully work with internal stakeholders and colleagues to contribute ideas, identify opportunities, and contribute to positive outcomes.
- Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment are essential.
- Familiartiy with an ERP system required (HR modules of SAP preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft tools and applications desirable.
