DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.

The World Wide Director Digital Strategy and Planning will establish the digital vision, strategy, and roadmap for DePuy Synthes Companies including defining key capabilities and building a passionate digital team and community. Conceive optimal organization design, staff critical positions, and formalize governance model to create necessary linkages with the businesses and regions. Lead development of a multi-generational product roadmap, in partnership with IT/key commercial stakeholders, including planning, implementing, managing, and optimizing digital infrastructure. Design best in class digital experiences to support/engage key customer groups. Establish digital best practices in strategy, creative, content development, integrated channel planning, and Search. Establish/evangelize a digital eco-system and how web, mobile, social, search, e-commerce platforms work together to optimize behavior/engagement and drive sales. Lead efforts around digital measurement/analytics including establishing methodologies/KPIs, reporting mechanisms, Provide interpretation of key learnings/, iplications , and actions. Identify, analyze, and champion the development of new and innovative digital opportunities. Build/manage Digital Agency partnerships.

Qualifications


BS/BA required, MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years of related marketing and/or digital communications work experience required. Previous experience from a Leading Consumer Packaged Goods Company or Agency Network is preferred. Previous line management experience and extensive experience in building brands and driving customer engagement through digital channels is required. Integrated marketing experience and deep understanding of digital channels (search, web portals, mobile, social, etc) is required. A passion for understanding the consumer/customer mindset and keeping up with technology and media trends is highly desired. Must have strong strategic leadership skills in setting a new vision/direction and be highly collaborative in partnering with others to gain buy in and adoption. Previous experience managing and developing a team is required. Must have experience leading complex, global agency operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including exceptional public speaking skills. Position can be located in Raynham, MA, or West Chester, PA. with up to 25% travel required
