Description

McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Operations Associate II (2nd Shift), located in Lancaster, PA.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products, ZYRTEC® and BENADRYL® allergy medicines, IMODIUM® A-D anti-diarrheal, MOTRIN® IB, , and SUDAFED® nasal decongestants.

The Operations Associate II will work in either Solids Processing or Compression operation on 2nd Shift. The primary purpose of the Operations Associate position is to operate all processing equipment/machinery or compression equipment involved in the batch processing of over-the-counter products at McNeil Consumer Healthcare.

The Operations Associate II will identify and elevate all immediate and potential quality, safety, or environmental issues (material, procedure, and process) as observed. Firm the planned order by recording in SAP, assign a lot number, print out the Bill of Material (BOM) and create a Batch Record. Gather RTPs and place with Batch Record paperwork in sleeve. Perform appropriate SAP transactions. Retrieve required materials per BOM to complete the processing order. Operate Processing equipment/machinery to package product as per applicable SOPs. Package order quantity as per SOPs and Processing Batch Record (includes quality checks, component staging, etc). After processing is complete, clear the line and reconcile materials. Return unused processing materials to appropriate point-of-use storage area. Verify all paperwork and Batch Record entries for accuracy; send Batch Record to Quality for final Release. Follow all applicable SOPs and batch records. Maintain an updated and current training record (adhere to training timelines in Compliance Wire, etc). Participate in Safety initiatives and programs.

The Operations Associate will participate in team meetings. Work as a team member with Team Leaders for process family line to ensure process outcomes (Business Unit results) are achieved.

The Operations Associate will operate equipment and conduct work based on established and certified cGMP, Safety & Environmental practices. Update batch records and SOPs as requested

The Operations Associate will identify continuous improvement opportunities for process and equipment and will share work knowledge/expertise with fellow team members. This individual may train new employees as requested.

Qualifications


This position requires a High school diploma or its equivalent. Three years experience working in a manufacturing operation is required, with experience working in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical, food or dairy industries preferred. Previous experience in Solid Dose pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred. Experience with computerized materials management and document tracking systems is also preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to frequently lift/carry 1-10 lbs, and occasionally lift/carry 11-50 lbs. Must be able to lift from the ground to knees and waist and from the waist to shoulders. Basic computer skills, including Windows Operating Systems and applications or equivalent are preferred. Must be able to work 2nd shift and obtain forklift license.
