Position Overview

Janssen Inc. is looking to fill a Quality Release Compliance Associate - 12 Month Contract role in our Quality Management Department located in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Review manufacturing batch records to ensure that Canadian GMPs are met.

Review of product stability and annual product quality reports.

Retain sample program management.

Filing of batch records in document archives.

Inspection of incoming product and evaluation of associated temperature data.

Evaluation of product returns.

Other activities/projects as assigned.

Qualifications


B.Sc. in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Chemical Engineering

Experience in reading and understanding analytical test results on certificates of analysis along with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in pharmaceutical production processes (i.e. solid doses, semi-solids, and liquids).

Strong analytical thinking required

Superior attention to accuracy and details

Strong communication (verbal, written)

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team settings

Strong planning and organization

Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Able to perform moderate physical activity (e.g. lifting of boxes up to 30 lbs) occasionally
