Position Description: This position is responsible for identifying and expanding used vehicles sales in Latin America or other assigned geographical areas. This position will focus on new buyers in both the retail and wholesale channels to improve penetration in their respective territory. The Export Sales Manger would also be responsible for interaction with the existing customer base in their area to improve customer retention as well as identify growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- College Degree or minimum 5 years heavy vehicle sales experience, preferably with International Sales.
- Bilingual candidate required (Spanish or language applicable to geographical area).
Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of vehicle specifications preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to travel both domestically and international as required by business.
- Possess strong negotiation skills.
- Strong PC Skills – MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
- Providing input on existing and changing export market conditions and trends in their area.
- Developing a marketing plan that ensures attainment of company sales goals.
- Aggressively and independently prospecting, developing and improving the current customer base.
- Responsible for all customer communication.
- Providing timely and accurate market feedback to Management.
- Identifying additional opportunities to add customer value.
- Promoting the Ryder Brand.
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes in addition to any and all international laws and policies.
